Real reviews look pretty rough, unfortunately...

Unlike modern robot mowers from the last few years, this does require running and burying a perimeter wire. Pass.

Good deal, I guess. But, know that this is a 1st generation model that came out in 2020.

Just get yourself a couple goats. About the same level of tech but the added bonus auto fertilization.

Good entry point model and price if you are at all interested in having a robot do your lawn. I started with this model and liked the ease of having a robot do my lawn so a year later i went with different robot with RTK antenna(satellite positioning).

Couple things:
- Obviously with the wire install this is going to take time to set up and then additional time to perfect. If you have a complex yard: meaning dips, holes, roots and lots of bends/turns it will take more time to fine tune the boundary wire.
- Depending on size of yard, grass strain and weather, plan on this thing running multiple hours at day. You can run it any time of the day though.
- Mobile app can only be used locally, unless you can VPN back to your home network on your phone. Could get a sim card for the robot too.

Not well. I did some research, looked the manual and some Youtube reviews about slopes. This model can only handle small slopes. The way this model senses obstacles not only using the bumper sensor but also sensing how much force the wheels are using. Going up a slope, it gets confused and it's hitng or dragging an obstacle, so it turns around. Going downhill, it senses picking up more speed, and it moves in diagonal. Newer models can handle it better, at a price. I almost bought this model at this price but my property has almost nothing plane. I'm not giving specific angles it can handle because I found conflicting information about it.

Just a heads up, the "Gift Card Exchange" app/website currently has Tractor Supply gift cards at 7.7% off (ATOP). Just make sure that if you are ordering online, Tractor Supply accepts multiple gift cards. Some retailers place a limit on the standard checkout pages for how many gift cards can be applied. If they do limit gift cards with their regular systems, you may need to call in or just visit the store. It's not a huge amount off but it helps offset the cost of taxes by about $23 which is nice.

Don't even try. I used 3d printed honey combs and stuck them in the bad parts of the yard. It worked sometimes.

FYI, You can also find at the same price, and the 4g connection card, from a company that specializes in this business.
