This seems like a great PC deal. Am I missing something?

RAM timings are CL38 per QA in the site. Anyone know how that impacts gaming?

I got the prior model with the same specs (G723) but the 9800X3D for $2250 in January (open box) and it had 64gb 6000mhz CL32 ram. Really lucked out, the build has been great.

Wasn't the G911 with a 9950x3d $2699 for the longest time? How's this a good deal?

A year ago this would have been in no way, not a great deal, but in this pricing environment, this is a decent deal on a very high performing rig.

I cannot conceive getting into a 3K debt for something as a PC Lol. Considering the hardware crisis this is what they want you to do, to establish the standard of paying an arm and a leg to discourage the masses and send you to cloud subscription services.

If you play with reasonably high settings and resolution, the impact is minimal. The 3D cache does the heavy lifting to make it less latency depending.

Are the 5080 hard to get now? Good amount were available in the 1k range before I got my 5090 i few months ago. 1800 for the rest of the system seems high.
