I hear you, but a 5070ti is over $1000 dollars right now and multi framegen isn't all that big a deal imo. I have a 5080 and find that mfg isn't worth turning on in a lot of games because of the added latency. I used it in the new Alan Wake, but that's just because the latency issue doesn't mean as much in that game. Should $800 for a 4080 super be a good deal? No way. But is it a decent deal in the current environment? I think so.

4000 series open boxes sounds like code for "refurb" to me, but who knows. If youre just gaming a new 9070 it might be a better direction...

You are right, not sure why people are down voting. Framegen is 100% worth it at this tier card.

The 4080 has 2x frame generation, just not multi-frame generation. $800 for a 4080 in this environment is a great deal. Even without frame generation, this is still a top five video card in terms of raw performance and will power any game that you need it to with ease and fps to spare.
