I had discussed with a fellow Ohioan what the difference was and apparently, one brand uses more cinnamon than the other. To me, I like Gold Star more as I have both chains in the city I am in (not in Ohio). I remember when I first went here I felt like I was scammed because they put more spaghetti in what they called chili. I had come to find that growing up, I was always eating Texmex chili.

Why is this so popular in the Ohio/Kentucky/Indiana area? It doesn't seem to have expanded nationally. I couldn't believe how many locations there were when I was there.

Cincinnati Bengals. They tied themselves to an NFL team. I could not write for Indiana though.
