As with anything perishable on Amazon, buyer beware...bought this exact lemon juice brand a couple years ago and it was pretty close to expiration and tasted very...off. Wound up disposing of most of it.
the ingredients literally say there are preservatives and lemon oil from concentrate...same thing for the costco version
On the Amazon page, I searched before buying and see only: "Ingredients: Lemon juice from concentrate" and "Special ingredients: 100% lemon juice, all natural, gluten free."
The actual bottle I received lists additional synthetic preservatives — sodium benzoate and sodium metabisulfite — which are not disclosed anywhere in the online description or ingredient section.
Sodium benzoate is a petrochemical‑derived preservative, and sodium metabisulfite is a sulfur‑based preservative, so this is not just lemon juice and water.
I'm sensitive to these kinds of additives and would never have bought this product if the full ingredient list had been shown.
The product photos on the listing show "100% Lemon Juice" on the front, and the side‑panel image only shows the Nutrition Facts box with the ingredient area blanked out, so you cannot see the preservatives that are printed on the actual bottle's label.
To me it looks like the ingredient list has been edited or cropped out of the online photo, which makes the whole page very misleading for anyone trying to avoid these additives. At minimum, the current Amazon listing is hiding the fact that this product contains industrial preservatives (including one derived from petrochemicals), not just lemon juice, and people who are trying to avoid those ingredients deserve to see that before they buy.

For the glass bottles or do they carry something else now? The Costco app no longer works on my phone or I'd check
