The new models work fine, although they aren't exactly high quality units in the first place.
New PSU tier list shows UD-GM PG5 units to be Tier C+ at most. I wouldn't buy it.
If you're spending money for a 5090 + 9800X3D build, don't skimp on a PSU. Buy Tier A+ units for that...

• Full power at 47 degrees Celsius
• Equipped with a 12+4 pin PCIe (12VHPWR) connector
• Most protection features are properly set
• Tight load regulation at 12V
• Decent ripple suppression
• Efficient
• Efficient 5VSB rail
• Low inrush current with 115V
• Good soldering quality
