SX/GX maybe not the best from SRAM, but probably okay until they wear out. The best upgrade would be getting nicer wheels and changing to a carbon seatpost.

You can upgrade:
- shifter
- derailleur
- chain
to GX without changing the freehub if you keep using the same NX/SX cassette. Swapping out SX for a GX shifter/derailleur should get a noticably crisper improvement. I did so on my entry-level Specialized Chisel FS.Leave a Comment
