VERY good deal. I'd quote it but I like my job.
I think many immediately think it's a ripoff of GoT, but Sparactus released on Starz a year prior to GoT's release. Unsure if that had to do with the delay for reshoots on GoT but the show generally is loved by fans.

Correction: This is all 4 seasons, total of 39 episodes. Unfortunately, the lead actor got cancer after season 1 was filmed and instead of cancelling or postponing indefinitely, the show went ahead with creating a Prequel season that they could film while he underwent treatment. So there is a Prequel Season, and then Seasons 1, 2, & 3 all included in this $8 bundle.
Season 1 is 13, Prequel is 6, Seasons 2 & 3 are 10 each.

I'd be shocked anyone would think this is a GoT rip off, it's full of optimism, heroes, any other likeable characters. The new spin off on MGM Plus is HORRIBLE, I cannot fathom some of the same people that worked on the original show worked on it.

IIRC, at the time people said it seemed like a 300 rip-off. And it's fair as the aesthetic is definitely from 300. The slow-mo & the blood effects were famous from 300 and parodied elsewhere.
