Alrighty then. After some research (GooglePixel, Samsung on Reddit and Pixel Superfan) it seems that Qi2 and MagSafe are not 100% the same thing. Possibly a slightly different alignment of the MagSafe magnets is their best guess.
This is causing wireless battery power packs on non-iPhone devices to overheat. They start charging then go into thermal shutdown. So it looks like almost all manufacturers of MagSafe battery packs are not marketing to Pixel users.

I picked this up about 2 weeks ago, and I'm returning it.
The pack constantly drops connection when on both my Pixel 10 Pro and my wife's Pixel 10.

The Pixel 10 series uses the same Qi2 standard, aka MagSafe as iPhones, so yes it should work as intended.

Wait. The MagSafe changer designed for iPhones won't work with your Pixel phone? Unbelievable how these companies try to scam us.

I agree that it "should" work. But the only compatible devices listed are iPhone 17/16/15/14/13/12 series. No mention of any other phones.
If you buy a type c cable and it only says "supports Android phones" would you really expect it not to work on your iPhone? Like I'd understand not charging at full speed or some features missing.... But you know ... Basic functionality at least

Just out of curiosity, does it work fine with your phone or your wife's without the case if you use one?

Its a Google problem, I recently did the T-Mobile free Pixel 10 deal for my whole family and bought various Qi2 products from various brands Anker, Lisen, and Baseus and they all work perfectly on iPhone, but are straight ass on the Pixel 10 as others have mentioned.

Bought this a few weeks ago when on sale. Still using it for my S25 Ultra with a magnetic case. It gets warm with wireless charging (which I expected it to be) but not hot enough to be of concern. Keep in mind that even if the battery is 5000mah, you will only get about 80% charge using wireless due to energy loss.

Currently using with my Pixel 10 Pro XL. No issues with keeping connection. Works 100% as expected. Magnet holds it very securely. Thinking it's more user error and adaptive battery settings.
