I have a couple of ounces of kimchi with breakfast and 8 oz of kefir before bed, and my gut health has never been better. I can't recommend kefir and kimchi enough. Just make sure you get kimchi that must be refrigerated if you want probiotic benefits. The shelf stable kimchi does not have any living probiotics in it.

This probiotic supplement is supposed to be a good one, so if you prefer to solve gut flora issues with a pill, this seems to be a good option. One thing to note: inulin (one of the prebiotics found in this) is very fermentable, so it might cause you to feel some bloating at first.

I used to have some lactose intolerance symptoms and after a month of daily kefir I can easily consume dairy products again with 0 issues. A healthy gut microbiome is crucial because it acts as the body's central engine for maximizing nutrient absorption, regulating systemic inflammation, and powering the immune system to fight off illness.

Is it better than Kefir or L.reuteri yogurt?
Easier, yes. You don't have to worry about refrigeration, etc. This does have less CFU.

I tried different probiotics both food and supplements and this has made a world of different for my GI issues. I used to think probiotics was a marketing scam

Are these better than the brands they sell at Costco? Seems better bang and more brand recognition and more (90 days) than this for a bit more?

Same here. This one helped tremendously with acid reflux. Taking this and one tbsp apple cider vinegar daily I stopped taking meds.

Somehow got them for $10. Thank OP! I always buy this brand. Expensive, without the slick deal, but very worth it!

If you don't mind, what kefir product so you use? I'm intrigued since I have lactose intolerance issues myself. Considering trying this method.

whatever the stores have. lately it's been Lifeway from Walmart, but I have used Aldi, Fresh Thyme stuff too. I started on 4 oz at a time and moved up to 8 oz. I usually buy flavored kefir because I prefer the taste.

Any discomfort you might feel will likely be short-lived. Stick to it for a week and that stuff seems to go away if you even experience discomfort at all. After about a month I tried drinking some milk and it didn't give me any negative effects as it had been doing for quite a while. Ice cream, cottage cheese and cold milk are back on the menu lol.

Though more expensive, I strongly prefer bio-k advanced over this.
