Got the non-premium for $80 a few weeks ago and I am impressed; it has way more useful features than my Fitbit Versa 4 and it looks better too (IMO).

Depends on your needs. I believe the only differences between premium and base model are the following:

-Saphire Crystal (vs mineral)
-NFC
-Stainless Steel casing
-2 bands included

The Active Premium 3 was announced and is coming out soon; I'm sure this is a sale to clear out current models
