The Sunlu S4 is a four spool filament dryer that helps pull moisture out of PLA, PETG, and other filaments so prints come out cleaner. It has been described as quiet, and drying old spools has reduced their weight by a few grams while improving print quality. The main caveats are that one unit stopped powering on after sitting unused, the release knob feels short, and the listing may need a quick authenticity check. It is a practical drying station if you want to keep multiple rolls ready.
Common Questions (4)
It is reported to be fairly quiet, around 45 dB at about 18 inches in one measurement, versus about 49 dB for a Creality dryer. That puts it a bit quieter in practice, and it is also described as quieter than the Creality unit by ear.
Yes. Drying old PLA and PETG reportedly reduced spool weight by a few grams from absorbed moisture, and the resulting prints came out excellent. It is especially useful for moisture-prone filaments like PETG, which can develop pops and zits when wet.
That should be verified before buying, because the listing may not be the legit Sunlu page. A separate Amazon listing for the same product was pointed out as a possible alternative to confirm authenticity.
No. If PLA and PETG are in the same AMS, the dryer should be set to PLA temperatures so the PLA is not damaged by excessive heat.

If you keep your filament in sealed bags with desiccant, you most likely won't need this. If you live in a high humidity area, you will need one eventually.
I also modified mine slightly as the release knob is really short and I have it high up. I printed a small set of easy release knobs for dryer and they work great. Give it a shot!

Just keep in mind, if you have both PLA and PETG within the same AMS, you should set your dryer on PLA temps or you can ruin your PLA if temps are too high.
EDIT: I'm a moron. I thought this deal was for the AMS Heater. I do own the S4 as well and It does seem quieter than the Creality
Even if a few dollars off, might be worth confirming that it is a good deal.
That was the slickdeals header - for some reason the link failed.
