Cotton is good at holding moisture, which is good for towels and things like that. But for active wear in which you're going to sweat, holding on to moisture is exactly what you don't want - not only is that uncomfortable but it is dangerous at low temperatures. If you're looking for cotton-only clothing, do not look at sports clothing/active wear (mostly synthetic or wool).

Small is available in both colors.
Medium is only available in black but shows up at $24.99. For some odd reason it's the only size/color combo at that price. Even the Large in Black is $14.99.
