Ugh, Google Fi is charging sales tax on the full purchase price, not the after discount price.

Comes to like 17.5% in taxes when it should be 1/2 that.

The 512gb price is $1499... Therefore $850 is correct! I'm not sure if the 256gb is eligible

New FI customers can have 512gb for $999

Samsung pricing is insane. Apple is final cheaper by a mile. Samung sales are nonstarters

Just for a data point. I am on Flexible on pause currently. I was able to order for $650+tax 512gb version. It shows in my promo area that i need to activate it on fi 30 days from date of shipped. So i will remove the pause the day the phone arrives and then activate it on the S26U!

I used to be a member but it's been like 2 years. I never paused the plan before. How does that work? Can i sign up again and pause it shortly after? How long can you pause the account for?

I would love someone to test this theory

New customer sign up for Flex or Premium on BYOD and activate eSim , use code from Reddit for $60 when signing up. I dont think the discount starts until the 2nd month

See how fast $650 existing customer deal takes to appear., I am thinking it will be less than 21 days despite policy... But if it appears the first day of service wait 24 hours before you buy it

I would do it but I am happy with my Flip 7

-- So if anyone is going to sign up and try to become an existing customer , post back if you had to wait the full 21 days to see the deal
I am also curious to know this as well.

They would need to activate the phone with eSIM and make sure the eSIM doesn't get put into another phone for the 120 days. If you put the eSIM into another phone, Google will charge you the full price of the phone.

Can the esim be a new number? Not ported? I have a friend that has unlimited premium as well, and i would like this deal somehow

I think he meant $450 off, I am seeing the same but I didn't have Fi in the last 180 days.
Ah thanks for correcting me.

You can pause the service for 90 days and when it's over you can pause it again. So some here has a line paused in between deals. If you were an old customer a while ago you will be treated as a new customer when you start the service. However, I have seen people get treated as existing customer after reopening with FI with a Gmail that was used before so you can try that.

They can order the phone but they have to activate the phone on their line and be on it for 120 days so that won't work for your purpose. Refer to my original post about how to become an "existing customer" and do this deal but you will loose the free storage upgrade to 512GB

As a previous customer 2 years ago, I rejoined google fi on the flexible plan, and the offers immediately showed up in the google fi app, including $650 off the Ultra. The question is should I trade in a 512 gb s24+ for $240 or use it on a better trade in offer? I really want the fold.

It makes sense if you are upgrading a single line but if you have multiple times cost of upgrade nullifies the increased discount.
correct, in my case 3-user currently on standard is almost a wash, 4-user definitely not worth it.

Thank you. I actually used to be a customer so i signed up for flex and am seeing the deal as existing customer. Is there a way when i get my new phone to use it with my current carrier instead of fi?

You need a physical SIM for that. One eSIM and one physical SIM will work.

when I created a 2nd account on 24th Jan to be eligible for this deal as an existing customer by 24th Feb using my own ref code. I saw same existing customer deals on 3rd day itself after bill got generated. So one can try.
