Ugh, Google Fi is charging sales tax on the full purchase price, not the after discount price.

Comes to like 17.5% in taxes when it should be 1/2 that.

The 512gb price is $1499... Therefore $850 is correct! I'm not sure if the 256gb is eligible

New FI customers can have 512gb for $999

Samsung pricing is insane. Apple is final cheaper by a mile. Samung sales are nonstarters

Any luck with people switching to Unlimited Premium and immediately getting the deal? Right now I'm on Unlimited Standard, and my deal is $450 off. I'm expecting, based on what I've read in this thread (admittedly not the entire thing... it's long!) that if I upgrade to Unlimited Premium, I will then see the $650 off instead of $450 off?

It should work. I have seen at least couple confirming it worked for them but someone who did can confirm too.

So I got everything set up. I'm ready to by the s26 ultra 512... I'm still on note 20 ultra 128gb 12gn ram...

I refreshed screen and battery after it cracked last year for $200... I love this micro SD. My pictures and video are max quality but I'm really second guessing about purchasing this thing and just getting a refund on my fi account minus a few bucks...

Anyone else go back and forth?

I'm not breaking the bank but 700 plus Google service and fees... idk...
If you do this, you can upgrade every year without paying anything so there's that. For full picture use Amazon photos if you have prime. I have a pixel 3 around to back up videos for free to Google photos albeit in 1080p quality.

I can confirm that it did offer me the extra $200 (from $450 off to $650 off) immediately. So basically I'm paying $60 extra (the difference in price between Unlimited Standard and Unlimited Premium for 4 months) in order to get the extra $200 I was missing out on on my previous plan. Good deal!

So can I switch (back) to Fi on my existing phone, get the preorder deal on this phone, and then activate when it shows up?

They finally added s25 trade-in. So now it is 899 - 500 promo - 275 trade-in + 28 taxes
Still a good deal

Yeah if you use the same email that you used before on Fi and sign up with a flexible plan it should show up. You can also do it with a new email address as a new user and order it that way. Read my step by step post earlier.

So for upgrading every year, that means you still need to buy 3mo of service. Yea? And expect at least $700 for your phone?

I use old pixels for my photo backups as well and hdd also. Nice.

I regretted ot getting s25 and hear I am... same situation...

The SD card is great. Especially if my phone unexpectedly breaks. II can take it out...

I'm not gaming but I do take a lot of pictures and video when traveling...

Also. The ram prices and storage prices got me shook. Buy now save later or what lol

Yeah, for example I sold my s25u for $780 and ordered s26u for $783 after tax. My number is with FI so I will have the service anyway but you have to add that cost if you are not on Fi
