Ugh, Google Fi is charging sales tax on the full purchase price, not the after discount price.

Comes to like 17.5% in taxes when it should be 1/2 that.

The 512gb price is $1499... Therefore $850 is correct! I'm not sure if the 256gb is eligible

New FI customers can have 512gb for $999

Samsung pricing is insane. Apple is final cheaper by a mile. Samung sales are nonstarters

Updated the post to mention this is for unlimited premium and flexible plans. If you are on a different plan, you can switch to one of those plans , do the deal for 120 days and switch back

New User, used refferal, ordered after 24hrs, activated today. Accout says activated and "stay active for 120 more days"

Any chance that it will error out? Or can I reset and transfer my info.

Wait for one more day to go down to 119 and then you can reset etc. Did you activate it 21 days from the account opening or before?

Sharing my experience in case it helps others. I ran into the same "new user activation" error on the $650 promo and had the promo team fix it after activation. Here's my timeline:

2/27 – Sign‑up + Order
• Created a new Fi account on the Flex plan and used the $60 unmentionable code.
• Activated service on my S23 Ultra and saw the half‑off promo appear.
• Ordered the S26 Ultra the same day.

3/02 – First Bill
• First bill generated and paid.

3/08 – Promo Error
• Got the "A new Fi member activated the device" warning even though the phone hadn't arrived.
• Fi support said it should fix itself after activating the S26U.

3/14 – Activation + Fix
• Removed Fi/eSIM from the S23U and activated the S26U with the same Google account.
• Error remained, so I emailed Fi support and asked for escalation to the promo team.
• Promo team confirmed eligibility and manually corrected it later that day.
• Promo page updated to "Activated the device on Mar 14."
• $60 promo showed 15 days remaining.

3/15 – Promos Counting Down
• S26U promo now shows 119 days left, and the $60 promo dropped to 14 days.

Note: Haven't run Smart Switch yet.

It will be good to know if there's anyone for which promo team has denied the request?

Activated the device with physical sim....it was still asking me to activate esim, which I declined. Installed the Fi app and service is now activated on S26U. 120 days to go.

I see activated the device on March 15 on the web, but not yet in Google Fi app. Does it take longer to reflect this in the app? Thanks.

Update: Now see activated in the Fi app as well. Took some extra time for this to update in the app.

Looks like the data point is to wait at least 24 hours or until 1st bill is generated before ordering the phone if starting a new account to avoid any errors.

I for some reason really don't like Samsung software and I like Pixel software. I tried this phone but I just couldn't do it. Luckily sold it locally for $1,200 cash. I will wait for the pixel 11 pro to upgrade my 9 pro XL

Already did, still washed out colors compared to the S23 Ultra. Especially reds.
Maybe "Extra Dim"? That's weird, the exact same thing was happening to me. I disabled those options and now I honestly can't see much difference between the S24U and the S26U. I'd even say the S26U looks slightly better. Maybe you got a defective panel, or maybe my standards are just low lol.
Also, in case it helps anyone: I just activated my phone. I used the referral method, ordered within the 24h window, and activated it today. In my progress it already shows as activated correctly. I'll update tomorrow to see if the counter moves to 119 days like it should, but so far everything looks good.

I need to return cases that I ordered from samsung.com. I don't see return label that I can print even though the return eligible window is still a few days out. Did they change this process recently? Thanks.

Update: Yes, Samsung removed the ability to self-generate/download return label. We need to contact ecommerce support and request the shipping label. They will email the link for the shipping label. Extra headache for sure.
