Yea. You'd be crazy to spend msrp, so I guess this is slightly better than that. Meanwhile oversea phones companies have larger batteries, better battery tech, faster charging. Samsung is king of being overpriced and mediocre. Proof that capitalism halts innovation.

Got my S23 plus for $450 after trading in my S20 FE a few years ago. $1000-1100 for a phone is crazy to me. I may have to seek other options around $500 when I'm forced to upgrade.
