Would never pay these prices. Maybe if they were made of metal, not cheap plastic and "bluetooth".

I bought the Polar Express Lionel train set that my son asked for several Christmas' in a row. He loved the Polar Express movie. It ran for about 45 minutes before a wire became unsoldered. I could have fixed it, but sent it back to Amazon for a replacement. I shouldn't have to fix a new train. They sent me a previously returned train that also did not work. Amazon could not send another train because they only stock them for Christmas and were out of stock. Lionel quality today is not what it once was. And I would be careful buying a train set from Amazon right after Christmas.

I understand they were bought by venture capitalists recently. Expect to see a bunch of these cheap licensing money grabs on the brand until they go bankrupt again.
