i remember last year, people who did pre-order and mailed in their trade-in's were having issues with getting trade-in credit to show on their account, even after 2-3 months. Think i'm gonna go with trade-in at store again for this year.

i just did some testing, and $200 discount shows up on s26 plus and 26 ultra , but not on the s26 base.

can anyone who did the mail-in trade in process last year speak on the process for getting the trade-in credit transferred to their debit/credit card? was it seamless or were their issues?

I might wait for an in-store deal.
I know this process works from experience, but I've always felt that mailing in a trade-in for credit is a bit risky.

I noticed that the S26 only has the 256GB, which is the base. Maybe Spectrum is not getting the upgraded 512GB, so instead, they are reducing the price of the S26 256GB by $200 to $699.99.

I test the s26 base to the very end and it doesn't have the $200 discount. my total price will be $979.86- (700)tradein= $280. not worth it IMO.

It was seamless, just had to call in and request it. I would recommend to refund to a different card you have on file so you don't lose your points/cashback if you paid with a credit card.

There wasn't a $200 discount on the base model last year either. The difference is that the S26 base is $100 more than the S25 and Spectrum is giving the same $700 trade-in discount.
