i remember last year, people who did pre-order and mailed in their trade-in's were having issues with getting trade-in credit to show on their account, even after 2-3 months. Think i'm gonna go with trade-in at store again for this year.

i just did some testing, and $200 discount shows up on s26 plus and 26 ultra , but not on the s26 base.

I think it's because on the plus and ultra they are giving you an upgrade on the memory which is a $200 upgrade. Go to the page and look at the price and memory but I think it will only be available for pre-orders.

I wanted to jump in on this order but I heard some stories about Assurant not honoring the trade in price. As far as I can remember, the free memory upgrade will be gone after the pre-order period but the $700 trade in bonus will remain.

you're not wrong, but i can buy a moto g play 2026 for $40. Trade it in, get the $700 credit. Then sell my Z flip 7 for $400-500 on the used market. They are lowballing crazy on the device itself for the convenience factor.

Also, best buy is matching Samsung's trade in deals with free memory upgrade and you can trade in your phone at the store. This doesn't seem like a bad deal

i just checked, and best buy is offering $400 for my flip 7 for just trading it in, no purchase necessary. But they give it you in the form of best buy credit or gift card, which is a shame.

It wasn't free. We still paid around a $100 with trade in.
Now we are paying $200 instead for this year.
