i remember last year, people who did pre-order and mailed in their trade-in's were having issues with getting trade-in credit to show on their account, even after 2-3 months. Think i'm gonna go with trade-in at store again for this year.

i just did some testing, and $200 discount shows up on s26 plus and 26 ultra , but not on the s26 base.

Works with my (12 months of) free mobile service! Considering that I had an old Samsung A13 laying around & worth $5 trade in, this is a pretty slick deal if you're a Spectrum internet user.

I don't see anything that says the phone has to work? Would they just give you worse trade in value or outright deny it?

Also unlocked straight out of the box from Samsung, will have to wait 60 days for Spectrum to unlock.

It will ask you when providing trade-in info whether it is in good condition or not, most likely will value $0 if it is not in good condition, meaning you won't get $700 promotion either. Trade-in value should be at least $1 to get $700 promotion.

Last year I traded for S25.. a few days later I traded up for a 25+ then a few days after that traded to to the Ultra. S26 is 699 with a 700 bonus credit, so you can just find some older iPhones on eBay if need be.. Do it in store so you get the trade in credit pre-tax (at least that's for it worked for me the past few years; I'm in NY)

it's 899.99 for the s26 base. you don't get 200 discount.

I did the same thing. I tried to get the Ultra after the 25+, but I believe they closed the loophole. The rep had to go back to the manager and it was denied. I tried 3 spectrum stores.

Too bad it only worked once. From s25 to the s25+. I can't complain though. Basically got a free S25+

So the 200 off for S26+ and S26 Ultra just covers the memory upgrade, right? It's not free memory upgrade AND 200 off! If you plan to do 2nd trade in, maybe purchasing S26 is still better choice.

The free upgrade deal seems to end 3/10..
So if we wait to go to the store and do this in person, we would essentially need to get the base 256gb model (unless we want to pay the difference)?
