i remember last year, people who did pre-order and mailed in their trade-in's were having issues with getting trade-in credit to show on their account, even after 2-3 months. Think i'm gonna go with trade-in at store again for this year.

i just did some testing, and $200 discount shows up on s26 plus and 26 ultra , but not on the s26 base.

I'm pretty sure you can do unlimited online orders. I think the in store guys are the ones they flag.

I love Spectrum, they gave me a 2nd year of free mobile line. I paid $40 per month for my Internet with 500mbs up & down. I am looking for a 3rd time free mobile again in September this year.

My line is not plus line, just the normal unlimited line that's all. I heard you have to pay $10 to upgrade to plus unlimited line in order to do unlimited orders.

Yep, it's in store. They could not complete the transaction. I had 3 lines and they were nice enough to let me tried different lines/credit cards.

I am going to order online S26 Ultra with trade-in $29 "Motorola G 5G 2025 Straight Talk" from Walmart. They will give me $705 plus $200 off instant discount, so the total is $1423 - $705 = $718 including tax.

They usually have them upon release, but you will likely forfeit the double storage promo if you wait. In my experience they have limited stock so there's a chance your local store won't have it and will just order one shipped to you anyway.

I'm in NY, and I got the tax refunded for the S24 and S25, but on the Flip 7 they did not refund the tax. I tried getting the tax refunded, and I even filed a complaint with the NY Division of Consumer Protection and got a letter from Spectrum telling me to kick rocks. So they definitely changed how they apply tax in NY. I still think they are wrong and the tax should be refunded, but I'm not gonna fight them over $70.

FYI, I did the trade in for flip 7 in store. They now have a system with their app and a mirror to verify the trade in device. Takes about 5-10 minutes but once you are done you are good to go. Will wait and see what the deal is for in store trades to decide if it is worth it. As for spectrum, $50 per month for gig speed and have ported out and then gotten another free line about 5 times. No complaints here.
