i remember last year, people who did pre-order and mailed in their trade-in's were having issues with getting trade-in credit to show on their account, even after 2-3 months. Think i'm gonna go with trade-in at store again for this year.

i just did some testing, and $200 discount shows up on s26 plus and 26 ultra , but not on the s26 base.

As I recall, there was a specific way we needed to set up the Straight Talk phones last year before mailing in so they didn't show as activation locked. Anyone recall what those steps were? Thanks.

Well, if I had been faster, I think I would've gotten $200 off the second phone. Now that the S26U order is on the second stage of processing the $200 off on a S26 base isn't showing up. For the first 2 hours or so after when I tried it was showing in the cart, I was using the S22+ I am keeping sim to test it while I waited for the 2nd Walmart Moto G to show up ha. So it'll be $200 for a base S26 now. Should have ordered that first I guess.

For now, I'm going to wait and see what the sales are like tomorrow before I do a second trade (first trade was for a S26U that I'm keeping). My address says I'm eligible for spectrum internet. A few years ago when I had them come in they said they couldn't do due to so agreements with my landlord and declined the installation. I would like to try again this year and avail this promo. What happens to the mobile order when the internet couldn't be installed just like last time. Anyone been in this situation before?

Does anybody know if Spectrum still validated the IMEI in the phones? I ordered iPhone 16e from the cricket deal and it's arriving tomorrow but I wanted to order today for the pre-order deal for double storage

I have done several trades with different IMEI's, but this was maybe 2 years ago so things may have changed.

If I'm reading this correctly, for the first phone you did not receive the extra $200 off but for the second one you are seeing it?

My first phone was the S26U, those don't have $200 off, they have a free memory upgrade that's worth $200. It would've let me get the S26 with 200 off had I went that route first, but they might have fixed that.

I ordered this morning and it's coming tomorrow. Your card maybe marked it as fraud? I had to approve it with mine because they marked it as fraud, someone else here had the same issue.
