When I asked if those credits could be withdraw, he said they can only be used for Spectrum services.
Has anyone actually managed to withdraw the credits this year, or did the new rules really cancel the instant discount — or was I just unlucky with the rep?

Some reps say differently.
So I'm guessing you had bought this phone on Straight Talk and had been using it on a plan before?
Because if you buy a new one from Walmart, it's already factory reset, but you can't advance through the setup without activating plan on sim. If I take the sim card out, then I can connect to wifi, but right after it still asks for esim activation and won't let you get past that.

I just did 2 new lines and both show $700 off.
I think it's $899, which with the $700 trade-in promo would make the out the door price about $200 (plus taxes and fees). Just want to confirm if that's correct before I head over to a store.
