i remember last year, people who did pre-order and mailed in their trade-in's were having issues with getting trade-in credit to show on their account, even after 2-3 months. Think i'm gonna go with trade-in at store again for this year.

i just did some testing, and $200 discount shows up on s26 plus and 26 ultra , but not on the s26 base.

That's something no new customer has confirmed here or on Reddit I've been following. I assume once you activate Internet with two lines, you could try buying or trading phones on spectrum website after logging in, or you could go to a store for the new phones. You should then be informed of your trade in values and all promo credits you qualify for , including the new customer $400 credit, which I think should also is instant credit in store when you select 'pay in full ' option. Let us know how it goes or if you already get all. Thanks

True. I got s26, and it seems s26 to plus or ultra trades or upgrades are not allowed this year. Tested multiple scenarios using my s26 imei on the website using my account

No they set up the system correctly this year. The extra discount only apply for financing. You can actually test it online in cart using the edit button. You can see the price change when you select finance option.
My bet is that they will implement the same method for the extra $700 next year.

care to elaborate how I can test this "online in cart" as an existing customer?Or are you referring to testing online using some random address that does not have Spectrum? I tried that, and the order form only allows ordering internet and specifying how many phone lines you need; doesn't let you pick or order phones. It seems new customers must activate internet and the lines before they can even proceed to select phones and related promotions. Let me know if that's not the case. I have family that's interested in getting Spectrum internet and the new customer promo.

You got it today? Good for you. I still haven't received email from them yet. They will refund to your account in a few days if you pay in full and call customer service to refund to your credit card once you see the refund in your account.

Thanks for the reply. Has no one done an in store trade in in NY? Trying to decide if it is worth it this year. Don't need to upgrade my s25+ that I got for free last year. Like that it still has a physical sim. Would get a new s26 if it made sense but $280 plus the $35 for the trade in phone doesn't seem worth it.
