If the value of the trade-in device credit exceeds the cost of the new device, credit will be reflected on bill statement within 2-3 bill cycles. Any promotional credits offered will be reflected over 36 months on the bill statement. One trade-in promotional offer is available per line. Online it happens more often because people are self-selecting devices and condition and can make mistakes entering IMEI number and there is no system checking before accepting like instore so chances of mistake and rejection are significantly more common.
You can certainly call and ask Spectrum/Assurant yourself to go over the terms of the trade-in and process with you.

Only use the cheap $30-40 phones. that s25+ has more value in local market.
BTW, the s26+ is literally the same as s25+, except the small bump in CPU. Nothing else.
to the s26 base, you're losing the QHD screen and taking a massive hit to experience. keep the s25+, buy a cheap moto 2025 $30 from walmart

no problem! Some states do tax on full amount regardless while others don't.
the s26 is a nice phone regardless. if after everything, you're spending $300-350 (moto, tax, difference) for a s26, you can sell it next year for roughly same price and get to enjoy it, then it's worth it.

- I have been switching to new phone every February for past two years but sounds like something is off this year. Do they only offer the $700 off $699.99 for S26 with trade-in for new customers? Or as an existing customer, there is still a way to get it? Asking because it shows me $700 off $899.99 fir S26 with trade-in which hasn't been the case since last year.
- Also, is it worth going to store and do the trade in, since I missed the pre-order time already?
- Sounds like they have a good deal for 17e for new customers, is there a way to avail that offer as an existing customer?
