i remember last year, people who did pre-order and mailed in their trade-in's were having issues with getting trade-in credit to show on their account, even after 2-3 months. Think i'm gonna go with trade-in at store again for this year.

i just did some testing, and $200 discount shows up on s26 plus and 26 ultra , but not on the s26 base.

I received my trade-in credit refund on the original card I used to pay for the order. I had added a different card to my account for the refund and removed the original payment card, but the refund was still processed to the original card. That said, I'm fine with receiving the refund quickly rather than waiting longer.

During the past few years it was no issue at all getting it back to the card on file (even if different from the original card), the billing agent was able to submit the refund request immediately. This year seems to be different process with them having to submit a refund ticket. I requested it go back to card on file and they said they put it in the request but it has not been processed yet so not sure where it will end up.

If they are processing it as a refund on the original payment method as a refund for the original order then there is no excuse for them to not be refunding the taxes also. It appears on the original order invoice as a promotional credit.

Yeah, they will send you an email to indicate that your refund review was completed. On mine after they created the refund review ticket, I received the refund review completed email an hour and half later. This was happened on the 18th.

You can communicate with the agents from online chat and give them the ticket number, then they can tell you its status.

Did you switch your payment card on file or just keep it as your original payment method? I will wait until tomorrow before following up since I assume if I contact today they will just say to wait until Monday.

Agree, I am done after this year in terms of flipping if this is how things are going to be now. Just too many variables have become unfavorable. None of the third-party selling was even necessary in previous years as most people were just trading the devices back in with Spectrum (since you could do trade-in like S25 to S25).
