i remember last year, people who did pre-order and mailed in their trade-in's were having issues with getting trade-in credit to show on their account, even after 2-3 months. Think i'm gonna go with trade-in at store again for this year.
Can some experts chime in - if it's worth spending $450 on top of S25+ to trade for S26 Ultra? I'm pretty happy with my s25+, but given that spectrum is getting me $950 for s25, it feels pretty tempting?
For context- I have Samsung tablet S8 with the stylus for more than 2 years but used the stylus maybe 3 times in the beginning, and the tablet in drawer for more than a year.
Also, I can probably trade 2 iPhone 16e from Cricket for almost $400 toward the Ultra . So the total is going to be S25+, 2 iPhone 16e, and about $10 cash. Or I can deposit the $400 from iPhone trade into my bank.
Yes for the $400 off, confirmed by me on the 1st day.
That does not confirm anything. Your statement sounds as vague as spectrum' terms that say the same thing.
Care to clarify if you signed up as a new Internet customer with 2 lines, and if you received $400 off instantly on device purchase, and if you got $400 X 2 ($800) instantly for two phones purchase, or it you had to select device financing to get the $400 credit, or if it was spread over 36 months. That's what everybody wants to know.
No, that is only if you want to get the $100 virtual prepaid Mastercard. You can just opt to not pay past the first month and then either wait a year for it to unlock or trade it in for something else for another deal like this current one.
Doesn't sound right. I went to check out and it cost 155 for the phone. There is no instant discount. Here is the fine print. Here's how it works: Sales tax applies. You'll need email & ID (to verify your name & address) to sign up. Heads up—if you want to move to a less expensive rate plan during the next 6 months after getting this deal, you'll need to pay $50 to change plans. Qualifying port-in required. Your phone is $99.99 via instant discount at checkout plus any applicable sales tax and ON US via $100 virtual prepaid Mastercard after your third month of service. You'll need to pay for the first month of your plan (eligible plan starting at the current $50/mo. with AutoPay, $55 for first month plan). After your third month of service with your new line, you'll need to properly complete a form for your virtual prepaid Mastercard, which you can use online or in stores; no cash access & expires in 6 months. The Mastercard is issued by Sunrise Banks, N.A., Member FDIC, pursuant to license from Mastercard International Inc. Mastercard is a registered trademark, and the circles design is a trademark of Mastercard International Incorporated. This card may be used everywhere Debit Mastercard is accepted. Registration, activation, acceptance, or use of this card constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions stated in the Prepaid Card Agreement. This promotion is not associated, sponsored, or endorsed by Mastercard or Sunrise Banks N.A. Account must be active and in good standing when card is issued. You can get this deal on up to 2 lines. This offer isn't available if you're currently with T-Mobile or have been with Metro in the past 180 days. You'll need to verify your name & address to get this deal in stores. Like everything else in this world, this is available for a limited time and subject to change. See Terms & Conditions (including arbitration provision) at MetrobyT-Mobile.com An activation charge of $25 may apply in-store. You can get deals on up to 4 lines. This is a limited-time offer and, like everything else in this crazy world, is subject to change. Can you explain what you are doing different?

You pay $99.99 for the phone+ the $55 for the first month. Then you don't autopay or pay after that. That is literally it. You pay for 2 more months if you want $100 virtual prepaid Mastercard. This is not a contract nor is there a stipulation about credits over a certain amount of time frame like most mainstream companies like T-Mobile. It is 100% right, if you want to think otherwise even though plenty of people have done it, I don't know what to tell you. There is a whole separate thread on the deal and it still is very much active since the really good Cricket deal went kaboom and was nerfed earlier this month.

OMG. I exchanged S26U for S26+ in-store. I got $200 refund but was charged $16.5 in tax. Only got $183.5 back. I asked why I got charged tax on refund and they were clueless. This is so WILD!!!
What's the reason you trading S26U for S26+?

Mine took 2 days, maybe check back later this morning. And just fyi I tried requesting my refund through online chat and they were completely useless (even though I had no issues requesting through chat in previous years), ended up calling in to request the refund.

Sorry, if this info can be found in past threads
Any existing customers availed the S26 Ulta deal for $899 with trade in ($700 plus device trade in value)? While I logged into my existing Spectrum account online, I could see this offer . Thank you
So is the $400 off spread out or the $700? Or all $1100?
When you do financing all of the discounts are spread out too, they are basically reducing the net cost of the item. For instance if the item is $1299.99 and you have $700+400 off then you would have $199.99 net cost divided up for the financing term.
The only thing that I am not sure whether it has been confirmed or not is what happens if you pay off the device early (since most people obviously do not want to pay for 36-months at $40/month for Spectrum mobile service). For instance, if you open the device payment plan that is supposed to last for 36 months and you pay it off completely after 1 month. I am not sure if you just pay off the net amount (i.e. with all the credits applied), or if you get refunded the credits separately, or if you lose the remaining credits for the $400 promotion.
