i remember last year, people who did pre-order and mailed in their trade-in's were having issues with getting trade-in credit to show on their account, even after 2-3 months. Think i'm gonna go with trade-in at store again for this year.
Hi whats the goal here with the 17e??? Cuz i cant figure out whats the end game.
where did I say I'll get 17e? still have those 5 s26 along with the now $1240 in apple store GCs trading in the found $99 16e phones (with 1 month data plans) I grabbed porting out the extra lines.

How could you buy four 16e from Metro? It asked me to call customer service when I ordered the second one.
I just tried it with a fully paid off Spectrum s26 from my account, and using it for trade in for S26 ultra via add a new line in my relative's account. No go. The $700 was removed at final checkout just like in my own account I also tried using an unlocked S26 ultra I bought from Best Buy, and with that the $700 shows at checkout with either my account or my relative's account. Looks like it is removing the $700 bonus base solely on the Spectrum s26 series IMEI.
Thank you for trying it out. Do you have another unlocked phone available that you can put on the account instead of S26 that is currently active?
That would test the theory of "active eSIM" check that somebody reported earlier (page 82-86 of this thread or so) with their S26 to iPhone 17e and then tried trading spectrum S26 and it worked, or something along the lines.
In this sequence >>> spectrum S26 on line 1 >>> temporarily switch line 1 to another eSIM (any non-S26 phone), give a bit of time (a day or so) for system to update and then try using initial S26 from spectrum as trade-in phone via eSIM1.
Appreciate you guys trying.😄

I'm pretty sure I've already tried that but I was going to try again just now. I guess spectrum system is messed up or they locked my account. https://imgur.com/a/70xwNTL

pretty sure they have a list of IMEIs blacklisted. Why would someone's unlocked Samsung S26 work?

- They received my trade-in on March 16.
- Got the approval email on March 23rd:
- Saw the credit on the account on 25th March
- Requested credit with the phone call to the billing refund line: 1-833-224-6603, March 25th, 11 AM EST
- Saw the credit on my original credit card on March 26th, 10:00 AM EST.
Thanks, hope this helps many.If so, just call up Spectrum and tell them to issue your credit back to your credit card on file.
the day before you decide to get it is how it normally works

Then the store rep messed up as you have to tell him you want to pay in full. Did you pay in full?

hhhaha yup, but in reality, they have ended the promotion early before the listed date. I forgot which series it was but it has happened.
Did you pay the balance upfront or in installments?
