Anyone try these for something like Bulgarian split squats where you're balancing on one leg? My running shoes feel too unstable for that. Wondering if these would suffice or if I should spend more on Nike's higher end Metcons that people generally love.

I have Metcons and do Bulgarian split squats plus weights with them. Very stable, flat, and wide so I'm not unbalanced and can concentrate better on my legs.

Running shoes in general aren't recommended for weightlifting. The padding isn't good for stability.
