Snapware has a lifetime warranty on the lids which they honor with no hassle. Made in U.S.A. Pyrex glass. No fragile plastic pins or hinges to break, Write on the lids with a Milwaukee Tools marker and it wipes off easily. Imported containers with broken lids are useless paperweights. Not slick for me even at $2 each.

Would you know if they still honor their warranty if I purchase thru Amazon? TIA

The CSR's are located in U.S.A. Super nice folks. I've had exceedingly few failures mostly on original Snapware which I purchased decades ago before World Kitchen, now Instant Brands, acquired them in 2010 improving the lids with Total Solutions to match Pyrex bases and redesigning the plastic bases all made in U.S.A.
Don't recall ever being asked by Snapware to provide POP . I've purchased directly from the dot com, They know who I am when I call. Also from Costco and Amazon. Snapware has a customer retention policy. The csr's appreciate hearing that you enjoy the product and the stateside support. I start an order online then call in and get offered a generous discount.
Corning created Pyrex borosilicate glass in 1915 for scientific use then pyro ceramic in 1958. The Chinese may or may not have achieved the same level of tempering but they fail when it comes to the lids. Rubbermaid Brilliance glass is inferior to Pyrex for both breakage and unreliable sealing.
