Believe it! This is one of a handful of USB-IF certified 5ft 80Gbps passive cables. USB-IF certification means a qualified test lab has validated that it meets critical requirements like signal integrity.

FYI, Thunderbolt has certified a few active 6.6ft Thunderbolt 5 cables. They are at least 4-5x more expensive though because they need bleeding-edge redriver circuitry in the cable itself.

Another great deal on this cable.
It looks like the same cable as the "Kesignston" I got for $16 after coupon, now selling for $44!

Right, as you can tell it is the exact same cable - Both are manufactured by CE Link and per the emarker share the same USB-IF certification XID, which correspond to one Test ID:

This is one specific cable, Anker is an entire brand...

Anker doesn't sell any USB-IF certified cables faster than USB 2.0 speed. Their Thunderbolt certified cables available for sale are only up to 3.3ft in length but are still 2-3x the cost of this cable.

Edit: correction: Anker does sell a certified 10Gbps (A8485), 20Gbps (A80N1011), and 40Gbps (A8487011) cable. None of them are priced competitively though.

Why would you want to pay about the same price for a shorter, uncertified cable?

The only certified 40Gbps+ cable longer than 6.6ft is the Apple Thunderbolt cable, and that's $160. If you're ok with 20Gbps speed though, there is a newly certified 3m (~10ft) cable on the market:

Thanks - this seems like it'll fit the bill:

"Drive a 4K 120Hz or dual 4K 60Hz displays via DP2.1"
