Tongue in cheek answer but I bought the 300 model last fall. I wanted it to save my aquarium in case power went out. In doing research, I found that appliances gobbled up the power. The biggest offenders are anything generating heat, like toasters.
The battery is the latest, 10 year possible life.
Worth buying for the purpose. If you're in an area where power goes out often, just plug in main lamp and other small electricity using items such as radios.
The thing I learned in doing my research is that these portable power banks and devices like API are for completely different purposes, I almost made the mistake of buying another API.
Shame no barrel outputs. Would make a great UPS for routers, modems, switches, etc. No AC inverter is a plus IMO, the ones they put in the portable batteries usually suck and go out within a few years.
