Since it is factory reconditioned (vs blemished) it isn't eligible for the LSA.

Great price
But if you already have the leaf blower, is there any reason to get this? Less speed less volume?

The LSA is a pretty lousy scheme anyways.

It's not a warranty (a warranty gives you certain legal protections). If something breaks on it, then it's entirely up to them if they want to replace it (they can say "no, get lost"). You then have to bring the tool to an "authorized repair center". They're usually located near a major metro area, so hope you live near one! Many of these repair centers won't let you mail in the tool -- you gotta drive it there.

(For me, that was a 2+ hour drive each way. So....two trips = 8-10 hours wasted. Not to mention any losses from being away from work/family. It's cheaper to throw the tool in the garbage can and buy a new one.)

In some spots, the repair center is just a private repair shop -- check their reviews. The one that's assigned to my region often didn't correctly fix tools, and you'd need to argue the failed repair with Ridgid.

How much is your time and energy worth to you?
