Came here to suggest this - Costco stocks superthing glass (STG) models of Maui Jim glasses once or twice a year. They just listed a whole bunch about a month ago. I bought one pair last year for about $10 less than what they're selling for now at Costco - still a great deal given it's Costco selling it. Bought two more now (one of them for $115 and it retails at Maui Jim for $380). The MJ STG models are my absolute favorite shades - the quality and value are the best in the industry IMO. Not sure why there's so many downvotes for people speaking highly of MJ - they're probably sore losers upset they spent $$$ on Luxottica crap.

Been buying Mauis over the last 20 years. Have purchased 9 pair within' the last 18 months, 7 for personal use, two pair as gifts. All are either made in Italy or Japan.
Zero change in the quality since they were purchased by the French company.

I've been wearing Maui Jim's for about 20 years and I will also mirror others and saying the new models are nowhere near as good as pre 2015 Maui Jim. I still buy the vintage models on eBay to this day because they are way better. I also have many pairs of Costa del Mar, Serengeti, Revo, Smith optics, and many other high-end sunglasses I would say Maui Jim's used to be number one on my list but now serengeti's are probably my number one for best quality sunglasses and lenses.

I'm in an optical industry for many years and Maui Jim got the best lenses of all, not many others can come close to it. I have tried so many different brands and this is my go to sunglasses.

I got a few Maui Jim's from this website and they're good, but the nylon frames do feel really flimsy. My BIL has an old set with metal frame, so hoping to see one of those on a sale like this but no luck.

Which models do you recommend. i have been spending money on Oakley's and sometimes offbrand ones from Amazon. I still have my Square wire 2.0 Oakleys from 2002. I"ve replaced the lense (aftermarket ones) like 4x's
