What the heck looks like a good price don't mind taking a chance on a refurb. If it holds up before the return date, it will be nice but I won't hesitate to send it back right after I ordered the price jumped up to over 1500 so these may be gone. My purchase was through Best Buy sold by Acer.

I have this. it's amazing! only issue is fans get loud but lot of optimization tweaks on reddit you can follow to get decent performance/temps ratio

Do note there is a 30 day return window offered through ebay but the item does not come with Acer warranty or support. The warranty as stated in the listing is through AllState, so it may be a deal breaker for some CC like AMEX.

140W vs 115W in this listing. It's essentially a 10-15% difference in gaming performance. The Neo 16 (non S) has full wattage and is sometimes available refurbished on eBay for a $100 more.

Still a great deal. Definitely buy! I bought this when it was $1200. Its an absolutely beast of a gaming laptop! Beats even some of the 2 times more expensive 5070ti laptops and even some 5080 laptops according to some of the YouTube comparison videos. The Oled screen is stunning. Ive been playing Cyberpunk 2077 on high settings and been getting over 120fps on the 2k resolution. Laptop does not get that hot as some of my other gaming laptops so the thermals have been pretty good for the amount of power its putting out. Overall couldn't be happier and all my gaming friends have been super impressed with it. I also love the full keyboard and number pad. Absolutely no complaints.

I'm currently on my third attempt at an Acer refurb.

1st one -the Touchpad didn't work.

2nd attempt- the network card failed.

Do not. I repeat, do not, but an EBay refurb Acer laptop.

I ended up buying one for myself, it arrived in a plain box but well padded and protected. Aside from the laptop it includes the charger. The laptop itself looked brand new, no scratches or anything. Its snappy and plays games great. I was playing Indiana Jones and the great circle at native resolution high settings getting around 120fps with dlss balanced. I bought a Llano v12 to go with it to keep it cool and with the llano heavy gaming has kept my GPU around 52° and processor between 55-60°
It's a really nice machine and am very happy with it

I am currently returning the one I bought a couple weeks ago....showed up with a very bright blue dead pixel...I messaged Acer about it, and they told me that they would not exchange it for me, and their best offer was a $50 compensation to keep it as is...I said that was unacceptable ($50 on a $1400 laptop...lol), so I am returning it for a full refund. I haven't been a big fan of Acer over the years, but this reminded me why I don't buy their sh!t...Buyer beware, they're not cooperative if you have an issue with it (Even with a 2-year Allstate warranty).
