My local HD had over 30 40v 16" stringer kit for $75 for over a month around the holidays. A bunch of them are on clearance at HD. YMMV, of course. I recently posted a deal about a $79 Ryobi 40V 9" edger kit, which comes with a 4Ah battery and charger. Search SD and you'll see other clearance deals mentioned, as well.

These comments about YMMV deals, that obviously don't pertain to most of us, are dumb. Unless I can literally go into any store right now and buy a battery for this price, then your better deal that can't be found, isn't a deal.

Your comment is dumb, not theirs. I for one appreciate the ymmv deal comments. It lets me know that better deals are possibly available to me. I've scored dozens of ymmv deals over my Slickdeals journey so I'll continue to check. I understand that ymmv deals can be an annoyance if your luck sucks and you never replicate a single deal but that's no reason to spoil it for the rest of us 😔
