It's similar in performance to the 7 Pro but with better battery life and a better display. Keep in mind that it might only have one year left of software updates though. Another thing is if you use screen protectors, it's hard to find any good ones for the Edge.
Yes, it has the necessary 5g bands for T-Mobile.

You can easily buy it used in a good condition on eBay for around $100 and save your money
