It is very bright on hi have the older model that was on a deal not long ago. Has settings L/M/H low good for getting key in the door but high is impressive at lighting up backyard magnet is strong enough to stick where you want it to stay.
I had the previous gen it was a POS. This new one has the metal button and is pretty bright. It gets hot quick but its a nice little light to go look for things in the garage etc.
