I have used these before. They are mixed with something else. I suspect may be a PLA+ because adhesion was bad and softens at a lower temperature. I bought their blue.

Geeetech has been my go-to for inexpensive functional filament that I just need to print. PolyMaker is the king if I want something to look perfect too and print reliably.

I've bought 5 or so 10 packs from them and never had any issues with their PETG. their silver extrudes kinda weird for me, but never had issues with bed or layer adhesion.
wish they had mixed color bundles, but I needed black so I got some. if anyone wants to trade for gray or neutral (or some other color) in the DFW area, lemme know!

I'm still seeing pre-coupon price of $70.98 for all the PETG on the listing including the mixed bundles. Make sure you aren't selecting PLA which is more expensive or maybe try a different browser.

PETG is always cheaper in 10kg packs. Likely PLA is more popular.

I think you may be right. It wasn't long ago when PLA was cheaper than PETG so I can't imagine PETG is necessarily cheaper to produce.

For my purposes, I mostly use PLA but I have a lot of PETG as well. I'd say my ratio is about 70% PLA, 25% PETG and 5% other filaments.

You can't mix PLA polymer with PETG polymer and get anything that would qualify as PETG so it's not that. I have found that you need to slow down the settings on this brand of PETG and increase the bed from 70 to 80 on a textured plate. And by slow down I mean reduce to 6mm/s max volumetric and also change retraction numbers, cooling percentage and then do a calibration on it. When you do that it prints nearly flawlessly. It still prints shiny but that is true of most PETG

Correct, I should have been more clear. I don't think it's even PETG, but something else blended to appear to be PETG.

Good to know on your settings. I always turn my retraction down, etc. 6mm/s^3? That's REALLY slow. But I guess time is money on these bargain filaments.

My guess was for the blend was because of the poor adhesion between some layers (and my purge/flush on BBL is generally 900 between PLA/PETG and vice versa) and the lower "glass point."

It is VERY slow but it did work for me. No stringing at all, no adhesion issues and prints that looked good. I also had to run an ironing test to get the best setting for that. It was way off the default value. I am mostly doing batches of custom coasters and this works great for that. No worries about them warping in the sun or heat

The $251 is an inflated price to make it seem like a great deal. Ten rolls of this brand filament is anout $90 to $100 on Amazon.
