Flashforge as a brand is a budget printer. It's great quality out the box but the wear and tear can come quickly, usually with a few months. Support will replace within 30 days but only send parts after that within a year. If you are willing to tinker yourself, it's cool. If not, get another brand.
Here's some issues I've seen personally across multiple modules (adventure, adventure pro, multi color)
- Randomly not loading filament. No really cause, it just won't.
- Heating element not working due to bad software or hardware issues or both
- Leveling not exactly leveling like it should
- Inconsistent material heating. Sometimes a print works perfectly then it won't then it will. No changes just the printer wasn't feeling well.
Overall, if you do occasional hobby work and don't mind the occasional misfire, it's good. Works well out the box. If you use it consistently, like daily. You might get a month out of it.Sign up for a Slickdeals account to remove this ad.
