The first season and first half of the second season are absolutely incredible. They solve the main mystery halfway though the second season and it kinda meanders after that.
The third season, which came out 23 YEARS later was EXCELLENT. It's not at all what I expected and you'll be tempted to rush through it just to "get to it," but honestly it's much better enjoyed slow. Every season 3 episode ends with a band playing a song at the roadhouse, I even spent the time to enjoy that.
The very last line of the last episode of the last season still sticks with me. Chills.
This used to be in a limited edition box set which sells for $300+ used. So being able to pick this up for so cheap is a real treat.
