Boy, very tempting, (I'm pretty sure) I watched this 4K version at vidiots and it was an absolute riot. Is this expected to get cheaper, like, actually? Just how "Fat" of a deal we talking?
This is incredibly tempting. The Killer, and Hard Boiled are arguably the best of John Woo + Chow Yun Fat movies. You get your dual wielding barettas, you get your gun-fu dives, you get your white doves; it's some classic action.
The Killer is probably a better movie, but Hard Boiled is more "fun." A bit of buddy cop, with two people who were still Jackie Chan style worshipped at the time. Chow Yun Fat, and Tony Leung.
Some bad.
I can't say about the 4k remaster but generally the English dubs in these movies are mediocre at best. I am a bit on the fence on this, and am leaning toward no, but depending on the quality of the 4k this is an okay deal for collectors and fans.
