The BLUETTI AC70 is a compact LiFePO4 power station that stands out for fast backup switching, Bluetooth battery monitoring, and flexible charging options. It has kept PCs, WiFi gear, and a Mac Studio running through outages without noticeable interruption, and the XT60 input can accept solar, wall adapters, and even external batteries. The main drawbacks are the 20 millisecond transfer time, which may be too slow for some server setups, and the lack of WiFi app access for easy status checks. A few also flag encryption hurdles with Home Assistant and isolated reliability concerns.

Elite 300 comes out next week. I'm curious what that will cost.

Someone posted that the elite 300 will cost $1k. I saw a preorder or something with $200 off, so I believe it. I have the elite 100v2, refurbished on ebay with black Friday discount ($250). Refurb came with 5 year bluetti warranty.

Pardon my ignorance, but can these be used as UPS? It's really hard to find a UPS with a comparable capacity for this price
I've been thinking the same. Based on Wikipedia, the latest ATX 3.1 power supply standard requires 12ms, so this should be good. A few considerations:
  1. Most PC UPSs also do surge protection, but surge protectors are cheap.
  2. My PC UPS offers "EMI/RFI Filtration". I'm not sure what that really means. Smilie
  3. Most PC UPSs have a USB port that triggers shutdown on the PC.
  4. I'm not sure of the standby power usages of one of these is vs a green UPS.
I've been using a 20ms model for my WiFi, Cable Modem and Security Hub we've had a couple power outages and it's been perfect. I love the Bluetooth monitoring feature so I can see how much battery is left remotely. On a related note, I converted my SLA PC UPS over to LiFePO4 and it works surprisingly well.

Very helpful, thanks. May I ask you to elaborate on that LiFePO conversion?

Are people still getting hit with cash advance charges plus fees when using Paypal? My first and only order ended up being way more trouble than it was worth.

Depends on the holdup time of your PSU (how long it can maintain power to your computer without receiving current from the wall). This switches in 20ms (some reports say longer if it's fully charged). PSUs are only required to have a holdup time of 12 MS under the latest ATX 3.1 spec. Previous specs were 17ms. You can look up your specific PSU on cybernetics' website and see whether it would work for you. Basically, as long as your PSU's holdup time is greater than the UPS switchover time to battery, you should be good.

I only got hit with the double high sales tax fee. I used PayPal credit for $40 off and CB for 6%.
