No SSD, but 24GB (soldered), USB4 AND Oculink is phenominal.
Also, if you're familiar with installing your own OS and are able to do simple network VLANing you should be able to prevent any attacks (assuming there is actual malware on the machine). All im saying is taht there is a lot of FUD out there with regard to the concerns you mentioned. If your risk tolerance is low, i guess you can skip these kinds of deals. Its all about your own comfort level.

The 680m igpu has pretty potent gaming capability, as far as igpus go. Plus the super fast ram helps even more. You should be able to allocate quite a bit of ram for vram and still have 16gb (min) for system ram.
What I found is that after a few minutes, you'll get an email that says your order is still awaiting payment, and I suppose you can try a different payment method at that point. It might also show up in your account orders, as awaiting payment.
