This is one area I wouldn't really cheap out on. With Impact drivers being a common tool now, cheaper bits can break easily and let you down. Milwaukee, Makita, Bosch, or DeWalt bit sets (quality roughly in that order) aren't that much more when on sale. $15 is pretty common, $10 possible, I have gotten $6 on clearance. They are likely much more durable.

Makes sense, but honestly for a DIY-er, my problem is not exactly durability, but rather losing them. I need impact bits every once and awhile. And, in that once-and-awhile, I'm likely to leave them in my pocket, or my toolbox, or on the ground while I was working, etc. Having cheap sets everywhere helps mitigate that, and most sets have multiple PH1, torx, etc. Just my $0.02.

Cheers brother, we're all here to save money where it makes sense.

This set looks cool, but how often are you going to need these specialty bits.

This is a great product for the price. It has all the tools that you dont think you need until you do.
