This is one area I wouldn't really cheap out on. With Impact drivers being a common tool now, cheaper bits can break easily and let you down. Milwaukee, Makita, Bosch, or DeWalt bit sets (quality roughly in that order) aren't that much more when on sale. $15 is pretty common, $10 possible, I have gotten $6 on clearance. They are likely much more durable.

Makes sense, but honestly for a DIY-er, my problem is not exactly durability, but rather losing them. I need impact bits every once and awhile. And, in that once-and-awhile, I'm likely to leave them in my pocket, or my toolbox, or on the ground while I was working, etc. Having cheap sets everywhere helps mitigate that, and most sets have multiple PH1, torx, etc. Just my $0.02.
