Coverage size and noise. These cover vastly more sq.ft. which allows them to run at similar air exchange volumes at lower speeds to remain quiet. Or you can run them full blast for more air exchanges. This one includes extra filters though, I would rather pay the $100 less for the unit without the extra filter and get a cheaper but still good quality third party filter.
