could you use the same email trick for Sam's new membership signup to this Costco one in order to get the discount? Or they screen the sign up process stricter over name/address etc.？

In July I signed up for Costco 65$ I believe for the first time was promised a 20$ shop card , I'm still waiting! I've called the 1800 number , I've asked at customer service in store 2 locations. I have not got a straight answer why I have not received it. 1800 number said they will put a $20 card anyway on my account approx 2 months ago still waiting ! I've read somewhere Costco will refund your membership if unsatisfied I'm tempted to ask. I'm also Sam's club and honestly like it much better.

Shouldn't be, but if the offer is different with that code (ie amount of gift card) use the OP code.

Mike ended on Jan 31 and I have not renewed yet. This offer is until April so is 2 months away considerd as new member with new email? Or they go by address

Same here, I get $0.01 off with code published here and says I can't use the SPRING26 code since I was a member maybe 10 years ago!

I like my Sam's because I can scan/go and have free shipping on online orders over $50 w/premium membership.

NO! It has been not working.
Even with new email, names, phones, and even swap between main account with 2nd free members.

Maybe with different physical address (Sons, daughters in college but don't add 2nd free members (that associate with Costco in the last 18 moths (even already canceled and no longer have memberships but still less than 18 months period).

Costco won't send any Costco Shop Card.

Also, when go to local Costco Card, associate put in ID, or address (if the same) and the system will pickup existing name/address that associate with the ID.

Sam's is much easier and has been working just fine but NOT COSTCO!

That said, they almost always seem to be running this deal if you end up waiting the full 18 months.

If the code shows that it's taking 0.01 off, does that mean it was successfully applied?

Also FYI, reading the T&Cs, it says that auto-renewal must be enabled to receive the Shop Card.

18 months just lapsed so I signed up this time. We do have a family member with membership expired for a couple of months but we never added household member. hopefully I'll receive the incentive smoothly
