FWIW, this is a fantastic device (especially at this price), assuming your eyes are good enough for a 2.4" screen. I EDC'd it for 5-6 months until side-grading to another Magicx handheld (XU20 V32). Larger screen on the latter but lacks analogs. I really want a Magicx One 35, seems like the perfect hybrid of the two devices but has yet to come to AliExpress yet Frown

No Bluetooth is such an annoying omission

Yeah I'm waiting on a cheap MagicX 35. I love the idea of the 28 but no touchscreen (solvable with gammaos) and no Bluetooth will keep this as another handheld device that collects dust in my cabinet next to my trimui brick and RG35XX lol

Personally the lack of a touch screen never bothered me, I'm not even sure how useful a 2.4" touch screen could ever be even if they included one (without a stylus at least). In the few instances you needed to click prompt you couldn't use the D pad to get to, invoking the mouse (via R3) solved that problem in under 1 second. And in my use case, only had to do that if I was tinkering with system level settings, but if you were often using 3rd party apps, such prompts might be more common.

But yes, they need to hurry up and release the One 35 on AE, as the current price of $100 (shipped) from MagicX's website is way too steep IMO.

Mostly cause it's android based and navigating around android like pulling down for notifications and settings, is way easier with touch screen.

Amen, but 99% of the time you are using the Mini Zero 28, you are doing so within the Dawn Launcher or emulating, which are both 100% controller friendly. The only time you ever see anything android-ish if you leave those interfaces. However (like I alluded to) if your use case for the device is outside of gaming purposes, or you have 3rd party emulators / apk's which you didn't configure the front end to launch from, you may face those prompts more often than intended. As a retro handheld, most users aren't going to spend a majority of time outside of the front end, that was my main point. Your use case might vary.

What is the highest system that it can emulate?

According to Retro Catalog's assessment, they say you can play most everything PS1 and below reliably, about 90% of the DS library, roughly 80% of N64 and Dreamcast, and about 70% of PSP.
